We are still waiting for an official confirmation officially and Bronco Ranger returning, but we have seen the proposed Union contract, and we have no reason to doubt Johnson. So let's dive in and talk about what we know so far.
Ford Ranger
Technically Ford Ranger is not dead. The current generation Ford Ranger is built in Thailand, South Africa and Argentina and sold in almost all markets of the world beyond North America. But as Johnson confirmed that Ford has plans to build a new Ranger in the Michigan assembly plant and sell it here again.
Looking at the current Ranger, it is clear that the world of pickup trucks has changed drastically since the latest American-market example was built in 2012. Expect the new Ranger to be a direct competitor to large large trucks such as the Chevrolet Colorado, Honda and Toyota Tacoma Freeagent-pills, which they share with full size trucks for 15 years.
But while the current Ranger gives us a very good idea of what size truck we are talking about, the only of its current five-cylinder turbo engine 3.2-liter diesel, it is also used in transit, is likely to continue for the next generation. Our pals in the car and driver waiting to see two turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder petrol engines, a diesel V6 and a naturally aspirated engine might turn the Chevy Colorado diesel for fuel economy average collection ultimate.
Based on the leaked UAW contract, it appears that the Ranger will start the production in 2018 and 2019 model, but don't be terribly surprised if we have to wait until 2020. One thing we know is that the Ranger will start production before the Bronco. Hopefully, Ford can keep the base price below $25,000.
Ford Bronco
With the new Ranger, we have a very good idea what to expect, but there's a lot less security around the Bronco. The latest generation, which ended production in 1996, is based on the Ford F-150. While some fans speculate that Ford could make a Bronco, based on the future Raptor 2017, at this point, I think that is likely.

In front of the Bronco will be built with Ranger, suppose that both vehicles share the same body in the construction of structures. We hope that the new Bronco to be much more in the outdoor market, Ford Everest SUV built on the basis of current Ranger.

We'd love to see the new Bronco live an SUV with two doors, but in a world where the Jeep Wrangler comes as a four-door, we suspect at least the option of a four-door Bronco.
What would be really interesting, however, is whether Ford based the new ford Bronco 2018 in other SUV is based on the Ranger platform — T4 Trolls. Trolls is a brand of Brazilian market that Ford bought back in 2007 and T4 is your average all-terrain Wrangler two doors. Add some retro touches, such as we see in this version of fan or 2004 Ford concept cars shown below, and would have an incredibly badass new Bronco.
It is likely? Not really. But is it possible? Theorist. It would be cool? You can be sure.
As for when we get the Bronco, depends entirely on when Ranger begins production. We are not very sure about the Bronco will have, but we're guessing that you will get only around 2020.
